We’re excited to officially launch the first GRITT Outdoors & Hunting Camp supported by Yeti, happening Saturday, 6th June to Sunday, 7th June at Island Hills Station in North Canterbury.

About The Event
This is a two-day (one-night) camp led by professional hunting guides and supported by the Gritt crew, and is suited for those aged 12-18 years and has been created to teach foundational hunting and outdoor skills while promoting environmental awareness, building mental resilience, confidence, and respect for New Zealand’s outdoor spaces and wildlife.
Over the weekend, attendees will take part in a range of practical sessions, including:
Outdoor safety, navigation and gear preparation
Glassing and animal identification
Wind awareness and stalking skills
Hunting ethics and conservation
